According to reports from rights organizations, including the Egyptian Commission for Rights and Freedoms, a number of detainees, including journalist Mohamed Haider Emad Youssef Qandil, were questioned by the Supreme State Security Prosecution after a period of alleged enforced disappearance. The detainees face accusations related to membership in a terrorist organization, with legal proceedings still ongoing.<\/p>\n
