\nThe Islamic Scholarly Council of the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in Syria has issued a statement regarding the recent events in Al-Mazra\u2019a village in Homs province, calling for the preservation of national unity and for the situation to be addressed responsibly in a way that protects citizens\u2019 rights and prevents further tension.<\/p>\n
The council\u2019s president, Sayyid Abdullah Nizam, said Syria is passing through a sensitive phase that requires unity, dialogue, and joint action to overcome social and economic challenges and restore stability, away from discord and division in all forms.<\/p>\n
The statement stressed the importance of the state fulfilling its responsibilities toward all citizens, protecting their interests, and treating them with justice and equality in order to strengthen trust between society and state institutions and preserve civil peace.<\/p>\n
