Millions Join Ashura Processions Across More Than 100 Cities in Nigeria

\nNigeria witnessed large-scale Ashura commemorations as followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, organized mourning processions in more than 100 cities across the country to mark the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, his family, and his companions in the tragedy of Karbala.<\/p>\n
According to a statement issued on the occasion, the processions drew massive participation estimated in the millions, with men, women, children, youth, and elderly mourners taking part in the ceremonies.<\/p>\n
