Hussaini Holy Shrine Expands Medical Services for Ashura: 550 Paramedics Deployed Across 43 Medical Stations

\nThe Youth Social Development and Empowerment Department at the Hussaini Holy Shrine has announced full readiness and the launch of its medical support plan to ensure the safety of visitors during the major Ashura pilgrimage days.<\/p>\n
According to Shia Waves Agency, the plan includes the deployment of 550 mobile paramedics, consisting of trained volunteers specialized in emergency medical care and evacuation procedures.<\/p>\n
These teams have been distributed across 43 medical stations inside the holy shrine and in the surrounding outer areas, allowing them to respond quickly to the needs of visitors.<\/p>\n
Mohammed Mohsen Al-Nasrawi, head of the department, said the First Aid Committee has prepared a detailed plan for the peak mourning days. On Tasu\u2019a, 21 mobile aid stations will be active, including nine inside the holy shrine and 12 in the outer areas.<\/p>\n
These teams will provide initial medical treatment and, when necessary, transfer patients immediately to Safir Imam Hussein Specialist Hospital, the field hospital at the courtyard of Lady Zainab, peace be upon her, or the emergency center on Al-Sidra Street.<\/p>\n
On the 10th of Muharram, coinciding with the start of the massive Tuwairij Run mourning ceremony, preparedness will reach its highest level with the deployment of 22 additional mobile stations, including 11 inside the shrine and 11 along the main routes used by mourners.<\/p>\n
