\nThe 27th of Dhu al-Hijjah marks the anniversary of the passing of Ali ibn Ja\u2018far, peace be upon him, also known as al-Uraydhi, the youngest son of Imam Ja\u2018far al-Sadiq, peace be upon him.<\/p>\n
He was a devoted scholar, a prominent narrator of hadith, and a figure known for his remarkable humility. He dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.<\/p>\n
According to historical accounts, Ali ibn Ja\u2018far, peace be upon him, passed away in the holy city of Qom on the 27th of Dhu al-Hijjah in the year 210 AH, after years of service to religion and the transmission of the teachings of the Ahlulbayt.<\/p>\n
He is regarded as one of the distinguished figures of the Prophet\u2019s pure household and among the trusted narrators in Shia history.<\/p>\n
Biographical and hadith sources state that Ali ibn Ja\u2018far lived during the time of four Imams: Imam al-Sadiq, Imam al-Kadhim, Imam al-Ridha and Imam al-Jawad, peace be upon them.<\/p>\n
His hadith works, including Masa\u2019il Ali ibn Ja\u2018far, al-Halal wa al-Haram and al-Manasik, continue to hold an important place among valuable Shia jurisprudential sources.<\/p>\n
One of the most notable aspects of his character was his deep recognition of the status of Imamate. According to a narration by Muhammad ibn Hasan Ammar, Ali ibn Ja\u2018far was in the Prophet\u2019s Mosque when he saw Imam al-Jawad, peace be upon him. He immediately went to greet the Imam without shoes or cloak and kissed his hand.<\/p>\n
When those around him questioned his action, he replied: \u201cAlmighty God has made this young man worthy of Imamate, not me with this white beard. Therefore, I am his servant.\u201d<\/p>\n
After leaving Medina, Ali ibn Ja\u2018far lived for a period in Kufa and later settled in Qom, where he passed away.<\/p>\n
His holy shrine is located at the end of Chaharmardan Street in Qom, opposite Bagh-e Behesht Cemetery, also known as Dar Behesht, and is visited by devotees of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.<\/p>\n
