The move reflects the continued implementation of strict Taliban policies and the systematic suppression of women, gradually excluding them from public and social life in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
According to Kabul-based newspaper Hasht-e Subh, Amnesty International\u2019s South Asia regional office issued a statement describing the arrests as another reminder of the ongoing repression of women\u2019s fundamental rights.<\/p>\n
