The Sudan Doctors Network said the attacks took place in the al-Murrah area, west of Barah town, and targeted villages with no military presence. The group said elderly people were among those killed.<\/p>\n
North Kordofan\u2019s governing administration condemned the attacks, while the doctors\u2019 group described the incident as a serious violation of international humanitarian law.<\/p>\n
Sudan has been gripped by war since April 2023, when tensions between the army and the Rapid Support Forces escalated into full-scale conflict. The fighting has killed tens of thousands of people, displaced millions, and pushed large parts of the country into famine.<\/p>\n
