According to Reuters, researchers said the pyramid\u2019s broad base, low centre of gravity, symmetrical shape, and strong limestone foundation have contributed to its stability. The study, published in Scientific Reports, also noted that internal chambers may help reduce the impact of seismic vibrations.<\/p>\n
The Great Pyramid was built during Egypt\u2019s Old Kingdom as the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu. It originally stood about 147 meters high, though its current height is around 138.5 meters due to erosion and the loss of outer casing stones.<\/p>\n
