Preliminary reports indicate that the blast originated from an explosive device planted near the Weapons Administration, with investigations ongoing to determine the full circumstances. A military source later confirmed that the device was placed inside a vehicle targeting the Damascus Weapons Administration center, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, the Syrian Ministry of Defense\u2019s Media and Communications Directorate reported that army units discovered another explosive device near a ministry building in Bab Sharqi.
