A joint statement by UN agencies managing camps and shelters reported that approximately 6.9 million displaced people are at risk of floods across 183 areas, with hazard levels ranging from moderate to extremely high. About four million people live in 1,195 sites in 163 highly vulnerable regions, prompting urgent calls for preparatory measures, including reinforcing shelters, improving camp infrastructure, and pre-positioning humanitarian aid.<\/p>\n
