\nThe United Nations has warned that the humanitarian situation in Lebanon continues to worsen despite the ongoing ceasefire agreement, as airstrikes persist and more casualties are reported.<\/p>\n
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) stated that the humanitarian crisis is deepening due to continued Israeli airstrikes, with more than 100 airstrikes recorded in the past 24 hours alone. These attacks resulted in 87 fatalities over the weekend.<\/p>\n
According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, provided by the UN office, the death toll has reached at least 2,846 people and 8,693 injured since the escalation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah on March 2.<\/p>\n
In a related development, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that two medics were killed and several others injured by airstrikes targeting health-related sites in the towns of Qleiya and Tebnine in southern Lebanon, raising concerns about the safety of medical personnel.<\/p>\n
