In a powerful message, he stressed the importance of ruling systems adhering to the principles of fairness and ensuring equality for all citizens, without any form of discrimination.<\/p>\n
In his recent series, “Beacon of Knowledge: Justice in Governance,” Grand Ayatollah al-Shirazi highlighted that true justice in Islam is rooted in the equal treatment of all individuals under the law, irrespective of their social class, ethnicity, or proximity to power. His Eminence emphasized that the duty of a just ruler is not only to uphold these values but also to protect the nation’s wealth from corruption and injustice.<\/p>\n
His Eminence pointed to the exemplary governance model of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure family), particularly during the historical event of the conquest of Mecca, where the Prophet granted a general amnesty to his enemies despite the personal harm they had caused him. This act, he explained, embodies the highest ethical standards in politics, turning conflict into compassion and fairness.<\/p>\n
Grand Ayatollah al-Shirazi also reflected on some historical experiences where rulers deviated from these ideals, noting that many regimes that claimed to rule in the name of Islam fell into oppression and bloodshed, causing suffering to the people and failing to achieve social justice.<\/p>\n
In relation to the ongoing contemporary crises, His Eminence warned against the persistence of systems that rely on violence and force rather than dialogue and ethical values.
