MPs Adnan Hussain and Ayoub Khan have written to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, urging a review of the activist\u2019s reported travel authorization ahead of a planned visit to London in May. The activist is expected to attend a rally organized by supporters of Tommy Robinson.<\/p>\n
The lawmakers argued that the individual\u2019s past statements\u2014widely criticized as inflammatory and hostile toward Muslims\u2014could exacerbate tensions in the UK, home to a Muslim population of around six million. They called for consistent application of entry restrictions in cases involving rhetoric deemed harmful to minority communities.<\/p>\n
In public statements, Khan emphasized the importance of safeguarding unity and preventing the spread of hate speech, while Hussain highlighted precedent cases where individuals were denied entry over controversial remarks targeting other religious groups.<\/p>\n
