\nPope Leo XIV has denounced the \u201chandful of tyrants\u201d who are ravaging Earth with war and exploitation, as he preached a message of peace in the epicentre of a separatist conflict considered one of the world\u2019s most neglected crises.<\/p>\n
According to Al Jazeera, Leo, on a four-country trip to Africa, travelled to the western Cameroon city of Bamenda.<\/p>\n
In his remarks in the St Joseph Cathedral, Leo praised the peace movement and warned against allowing religion to enter conflicts.<\/p>\n
He called for a \u201cdecisive change of course\u201d that leads away from conflict and the exploitation of the land and its people for military or economic gain.<\/p>\n
