The report, published by the Motra Monitor and the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), found 44.3% believe Islam alone can solve societal problems, 23.8% favor an Islamic theocracy, and 25.1% view Sharia as overriding state law. Many also reject Western morality, with 27.7% questioning Christianity\u2019s authority and 44.8% denouncing Western sexual norms.<\/p>\n
AI tools amplify extremist messaging in text, video, and audio, increasing youth exposure. Discord, Instagram, and X\/Twitter saw the largest rises in Islamist engagement, while TikTok and YouTube remained stable. Discord hosts the highest proportion of closed Islamist worldviews at 26.5%.<\/p>\n
The study also links Islamism with rising antisemitism. Among under-40s, overt antisemitic views rose from 11.3% in 2021 to 29.1% in 2025, with latent antisemitism at 6.3%.<\/p>\n
Experts warn of growing societal risks. FDP vice chairman Wolfgang Kubicki calls it a \u201csocial time bomb,\u201d while German Police Union\u2019s Manuel Ostermann cites extremists exploiting political correctness. Scholar Eren G\u00fcvercin confirms Islamists are effectively reaching youth through social media.<\/p>\n
