University officials said agents entered her residential building without presenting a judicial warrant and allegedly misrepresented their purpose. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security later stated that Aghayeva\u2019s student visa had been terminated in 2016 due to lack of attendance, rendering her presence in the country unlawful.<\/p>\n
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said he raised the case directly with President Donald Trump.
