\nOn Wednesday, the 29th of Sha\u2019ban 1447 AH, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi held his daily scholarly session, answering attendees\u2019 questions on various jurisprudential matters.<\/p>\n
Referring to verse 26 of Surah Ar-Rahman, \u201cAll who are on it [the earth] will perish,\u201d and a saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), \u201cI was created to remain and endure,\u201d Ayatollah Shirazi explained that these statements are not contradictory.<\/p>\n
He clarified that the Prophet\u2019s teaching emphasizes that humans were not created for the fleeting world, which is perishable, but for the eternal and everlasting life of the hereafter.<\/p>\n
