United States Hosts Global Exhibition Titled \u201cWomen\u2019s Rights Are Human Rights\u201d

\nA global art exhibition titled Women\u2019s Rights Are Human Rights has opened in the United States, highlighting issues of violence and discrimination against women and promoting awareness of women\u2019s rights as an inseparable part of human rights.<\/p>\n
The exhibition is being held at the Don B. Huntley Gallery at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona). It features a curated collection of artworks and posters that reflect the challenges women face, including domestic, political, and cultural violence, discrimination in education and employment, barriers to social participation, as well as issues related to reproductive rights and women\u2019s autonomy in life decisions.<\/p>\n
Dr. Elizabeth Resnick, the exhibition\u2019s chief curator and a retired professor of graphic design, said the exhibition aims to present women\u2019s issues through powerful visual language that communicates directly with the public and opens space for community dialogue on equality and social justice.<\/p>\n
The exhibition is part of ongoing international efforts to promote women\u2019s rights and combat all forms of violence against women. It will run until September 21, 2026, and includes educational programs and workshops to raise awareness about women\u2019s roles in society and their fundamental rights.<\/p>\n
The exhibition\u2019s title is inspired by a landmark speech by Hillary Clinton at the United Nations women\u2019s conference in Beijing in 1995, in which she emphasized that women\u2019s rights are human rights.<\/p>\n
