Fine wrote on the platform X that \u201cif they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one,\u201d a post that had been viewed tens of millions of times by Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Fine\u2019s remarks quickly drew sharp criticism from civil rights groups and political figures. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, which previously designated him an anti-Muslim extremist, called on congressional leaders to demand his resignation and denounced the language as dehumanising.<\/p>\n
