\nSenior Shiite cleric Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi has emphasized that the pursuit of religious knowledge must be the foremost priority for seminary students and should be undertaken solely to seek God\u2019s pleasure, free from worldly interests.<\/p>\n
His remarks came during a ceremony in which a group of religious students from Iraq and Pakistan were formally adorned with the clerical turban, marking a significant stage in their scholarly path and their transition into greater religious responsibility.<\/p>\n
Addressing the gathering, Grand Ayatollah al-Najafi underlined the importance of sincerity and spiritual discipline in religious studies, calling on students to purify their intentions and hearts from resentment and personal ambition. He noted that genuine devotion to learning is essential for attaining divine blessing and success.<\/p>\n
