According to Clarion India, worshippers arriving for prayers discovered damage to the mosque\u2019s walls, broken window panes and washroom doors. Several copies of the Holy Qur\u2019an were found scattered on the floor with visible signs of desecration. Media reports also said empty beer and whisky bottles were recovered from the premises, deepening concerns that the act was deliberate rather than accidental.<\/p>\n
Local reports indicated that unknown persons forcibly entered the mosque, ransacked parts of the building and vandalised religious property before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n
Condemning the incident, Amjed Ullah Khan, spokesperson for the Majlis Bachao Tehreek, described the attack as a serious assault on religious harmony and constitutional values. He urged police to immediately register a criminal case, identify those responsible and ensure strict legal action.<\/p>\n
Residents and community leaders said the vandalism appeared aimed at provoking communal tension and called on authorities to act swiftly and transparently.
