\nJamia Millia Islamia University (JMI) on Wednesday launched a three-day international conference titled \u201cThe Quran and Science,\u201d bringing together academics, researchers, and thinkers from India and abroad to examine the relationship between Quranic teachings and contemporary scientific thought.<\/p>\n
The conference opened on January 28, with a formal inaugural ceremony held at the Dr. M. A. Ansari Auditorium. Proceedings began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the honoring of participating guests. Speakers at the opening session highlighted the importance of sustained dialogue between religion and modern systems of knowledge as a means to better understand today\u2019s intellectual and scientific challenges.<\/p>\n
