The United Nations Children\u2019s Fund (UNICEF) announced it is providing services to more than 20,000 children across six provinces of Afghanistan through its \u201cChild Development and Growth Centers,\u201d Hasht-e-Subh Daily reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement released on Monday, January 12, UNICEF added that parenting skills for 10,000 parents are being strengthened through these centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UNICEF emphasized that children need recreation opportunities, noting that activities such as ball games are organized at the centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The organization also said that childcare and parenting skills are provided to parents through these facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
