The group additionally condemned targeted violence against Alawites, Druze, and other minority communities in Syria by extremist groups and warring factions, stressing the need to safeguard minorities, advance transitional justice, and prosecute perpetrators without exception.<\/p>\n
Emphasizing the broader framework for genocide prevention, the group highlighted the importance of reinforcing international law, countering hate speech, strengthening early-warning mechanisms, and promoting nonviolence and diversity.
