\nDuring his daily scholarly session on Monday, the 9th of Jumada al-Thani 1447, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi addressed attendees\u2019 questions on various jurisprudential matters, as is customary in his sessions.<\/p>\n
Regarding the status of religious authorities after the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), the Supreme Marja stated that once Imam al-Mahdi reappears, all Mara\u2019ji (sources of emulation) will follow him.<\/p>\n
His Eminence explained that the current position of the Marja\u2019iyya (religious authority) exists because the Immaculate Imam is in occultation and not physically present.<\/p>\n
