\nG20 leaders on Saturday made a pledge in their summit declaration to work for a \u201cjust, comprehensive and lasting\u201d peace in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Palestinian territories, and Ukraine, Anadolu Agency reported.<\/p>\n
\u201cGuided by the Purposes and Principles of the UN Charter in its entirety, we will work for a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace in Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Ukraine,\u201d said the final declaration of the summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.<\/p>\n
Condemning terrorism in \u201call its forms and manifestations,\u201d it said: \u201cOnly with peace will we achieve sustainability and prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n
The leaders also vowed to help end other conflicts and wars around the globe.<\/p>\n
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa\u2019s spokesperson Vincent Magwenya confirmed on Saturday that the leaders at the G20 summit have adopted the summit declaration, according to public broadcaster SABC.<\/p>\n
