\nConstruction has officially begun on the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer, a striking Christian monument near Birmingham in Coleshill. According to the project\u2019s own website, eternalwall.org.uk, the ceremony on November 5, 2025, marked a significant milestone in what has been over 20 years in the making. <\/p>\n
The structure is being built in the shape of a M\u00f6bius strip, rising to approximately 51.5 meters (169 feet) in height. <\/p>\n
It will be composed of one million bricks, each physically present in the wall but also digitally linked to a submitted testimony: individuals have shared stories of prayers they believe were answered, and these stories will be accessible through mobile devices, The Independent reported.<\/p>\n
The idea for the monument originated with Richard Gamble, a former chaplain, who conceived the project more than two decades ago. The land for the site was donated by Lord Robert Edmiston, whose IM Properties company has also contributed a large portion of the funding. <\/p>\n
