The event, held on Thursday, featured a religious lecture delivered by Sheikh Zaki Al-Bayati. A number of poets and eulogists also participated, reciting praise poetry in honor of the granddaughter of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure family).<\/p>\n
Organizers said the annual gathering aims to honor the moral virtues and legacy of Sayyida Zainab (peace be upon her), revered by Shia Muslims for her role in preserving the message of Imam al-Hussein (peace be upon him) following the tragedy of Karbala.<\/p>\n
