A new report by the Center for the Documentation of Violations Against Shia in Syria has documented a series of sectarian attacks and abuses targeting Shia civilians across several provinces in recent days. The report attributes the assaults to armed groups affiliated with the so-called \u201cPublic Security\u201d forces and factions linked to the Syrian Interim Government, criticizing what it described as the \u201cconspicuous silence\u201d of local authorities in addressing these incidents.<\/p>\n
According to the center, violations were recorded in multiple areas, including the towns of Nubl and al-Zahraa in Aleppo\u2019s countryside, where a man named Ahmed Hamza was seriously wounded by gunfire. In Homs province, two men \u2014 Yasser al-Abdullah and Ammar Mousa al-Ali \u2014 were reportedly kidnapped in separate incidents, while another resident, Ali Madah, was detained following a raid on his home in al-Abbasiyah neighborhood.<\/p>\n
