A joint Iraqi-German archaeological mission has uncovered four new Assyrian winged bulls at the Nabi Yunus archaeological site in Mosul, marking one of Iraq\u2019s most significant recent discoveries. Team member Ghassan al-Hassani said the mission is currently working to uncover the palace structures, halls, and related wall carvings before presenting them publicly. <\/p>\n
Site director Zaid al-Obaidi noted that the fourth bull is uniquely made of detachable stone cubes, allowing it to be moved without damage. The previously buried bulls, first found in 1990, were re-excavated alongside the new find.<\/p>\n
