The service, called Instant Checkout, currently supports single-item purchases, with plans to expand to multi-item carts, more merchants, and wider regional availability. Under the model, users face no extra charges, while merchants will pay a commission fee.<\/p>\n
The announcement sparked market reaction, with Etsy shares climbing 7.3 percent and Shopify\u2019s U.S.-listed shares rising 4.5 percent.<\/p>\n
