The Center for Documenting Violations Against Shia in Syria has denounced the abduction of a teenage girl in Homs province on Saturday, September 6, 2025, holding the so-called \u201cGeneral Security\u201d fully responsible for her safety.<\/p>\n
According to the group\u2019s statement, armed men affiliated with General Security stormed the home of local resident Samer al-Halboni in the Mazraa village orchards around 5 p.m. and seized his 16-year-old daughter, Shahd al-Halboni, in front of her family. <\/p>\n
The center described the incident as a reflection of lawlessness and brutality in the area. Local sources reported that the girl\u2019s identification card was later found in the outskirts of Homs. Hours afterward, her father received a text message stating that his daughter was alive and had been transferred to Aleppo, which was viewed as an act of intimidation and extortion.<\/p>\n
