According to AFP, Sarah Adams, a former CIA officer, released photos taken from diplomatic passports on social media platform X, describing the move as a protest against Taliban-imposed restrictions. She has so far revealed the images of ten women linked to Taliban officials posted in embassies and consulates in cities including Peshawar, Moscow, Zahedan, Quetta, Astana, Mashhad, Bishkek, Dubai, and Islamabad.
