They described the First Ghadir Eid as the day Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) appointed Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as his successor, completing the message of Islam.<\/p>\n<p>The Second Ghadir Eid, according to the speakers, marks the beginning of the Imamate of the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), and is also associated with the defeat of key historical opponents of Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her).
