Pilgrims from across Iraq\u2014including Basra, Nasiriyah, Diwaniyah, and Baghdad\u2014are walking on foot to the shrine, with numerous mawakib (pilgrim service tents) along the routes providing food, water, and other services.<\/p>\n
Security forces have increased deployment around the city to ensure safety, while the shrine has prepared special commemorative programs, including mourning gatherings and essential services for visitors.<\/p>\n
