The study, which reviewed existing data from around the world, found that the shingles jab was associated with a 18% lower risk of a heart attack or stroke in adults ages 18 and older. For adults 50 and older, the risk reduction was 16%.<\/p>\n
While these findings are promising, experts caution that more research is needed to confirm a direct link between the vaccine and a lower risk of heart problems.
