The hybrid event took place at the Jackman Humanities Building in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>The conference explored various Shi\u2019a perspectives on the Quran and showcased the contributions of Shi\u2019a scholars to Quranic studies across history. Over two days, six sessions addressed topics including foundational principles, the roles of prophets and imams, esoteric and exoteric interpretations, sectarian relations, the Safavid transformation, and contemporary theological developments.<\/p>\n<p>Key research papers presented included studies on Imam Ali\u2019s interpretive approaches, Shi\u2019a engagements with the Quran, Druze wisdom literature, Zaydi exegesis, and Shi\u2019a hermeneutics.
