The OIC Secretary-General, Hissein Brahim Taha, called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and condemned actions such as genocide, ethnic cleansing, and the use of starvation as a weapon. He stressed that Israel’s actions demand a more effective international response. The meeting also addressed concerns over Israel’s plans for total military control over the Gaza Strip and the “Greater Israel” vision, which Taha called a “flagrant violation of international law.”<\/p>\n
