The 9th International Scientific Conference on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, held in Holy Karbala under the theme \u201cArbaeen: Embodiment of Spiritual Values and Scientific Advancement,\u201d concluded with a set of key recommendations aimed at enhancing both the spiritual and logistical dimensions of the pilgrimage.<\/p>\n
Organized by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in collaboration with the University of Baghdad and the Academic Council for Arbaeen, the conference brought together scholars and experts from Iraq and abroad. Among the most notable outcomes was the call to integrate the spiritual and humanitarian values of Arbaeen into national educational curricula, in coordination with Iraq\u2019s Ministries of Education and Higher Education.<\/p>\n
The recommendations also emphasized training educators to effectively convey these values using modern teaching methods and encouraged academic research on the history and cultural significance of Arbaeen. Proposals included the creation of a dedicated museum and archival center, along with memorials honoring pilgrims and the ethos of generosity associated with the event.<\/p>\n
To improve crowd management, the conference advocated the adoption of artificial intelligence, drones, thermal cameras, and predictive analytics. Infrastructure enhancements, including expanded transport routes and dedicated paths for people with disabilities, were also suggested. Environmental sustainability featured prominently, with proposals for integrated waste management, recycling initiatives, and green urban planning along pilgrimage routes. <\/p>\n
