Shia holy shrines and religious sites across Iraq have been hosting mourning rituals to mark the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad\u2019s (peace be upon him and his family) martyrdom, drawing large numbers of visitors from within the country and abroad.<\/p>\n
According to the Secretariat-General of Shia Shrines, thousands of pilgrims have been arriving for several days to participate in religious and cultural programs dedicated to the occasion. The shrines of the Prophet\u2019s family and descendants have welcomed the visitors, while staff and volunteers mobilized to provide essential services.<\/p>\n
