\nEgypt\u2019s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has unveiled a collection of artifacts recovered from the depths of the Mediterranean Sea, Anadolu Agency reported. The items, which include rare statues, pottery, and jewelry, are part of a new exhibition titled “Secrets of the Sunken City Exhibition” at the Alexandria National Museum.<\/p>\n
The exhibition, which will run for six months, features 86 rare artifacts from various sites in the Alexandria governorate. The pieces were recovered from Abu Qir Bay in northern Egypt by the European Institute for Underwater Archaeology and from the submerged “Royal Quarters” of Alexandria\u2019s ancient eastern harbor. <\/p>\n
