In a statement issued Wednesday, the agency stressed that families in the enclave are not only enduring hunger but are at risk of dying from starvation, urging immediate safe access for humanitarian aid.<\/p>\n
The warning comes as Israel\u2019s ongoing military offensive in Gaza, launched on October 7, 2023, has compounded the crisis through widespread destruction, displacement, and severe restrictions on food supplies. <\/p>\n
