He praised the spiritual atmosphere of the global event, calling the massive gathering a unique experience of human and spiritual solidarity.<\/p>\n
The ambassador highlighted the selfless efforts of the servants and owners of the mawkibs (pilgrim rest stops), describing their volunteer services as a unique model of generosity and love. He noted that they provide food, drinks, and other essential services to pilgrims with “the utmost love and sacrifice.”<\/p>\n
Galligan added that the Arbaeen pilgrimage, in addition to its spiritual aspects, sends a clear message of peace and humanitarianism.
