In Iraq, temperatures are expected to reach up to 50\u00b0C (122\u00b0F) in some provinces, while Egypt’s meteorological authority has advised residents to drink plenty of fluids and avoid direct sunlight, with temperatures in Greater Cairo expected to exceed 40\u00b0C (104\u00b0F).
