Adding to the crisis, the Gaza Government Media Office has condemned the killing of five Al Jazeera journalists in an Israeli strike near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex. The government described the incident as a “full-fledged war crime” and a “prelude to the Israeli plan to fully occupy Gaza City”. Al Jazeera Media Network echoed this, calling the killings a “planned assassination” and holding the Israeli army and government responsible. The number of journalists killed since the start of the conflict in October 2023 has now risen to 237.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sisters, Hala (20), Alma (17), and Sama (15) al-Masri, completed their memorization while enduring displacement, hunger, shelling, and living in a tent in al-Mawasi after being forced to leave their home. Their journey, overseen by their elder sister Nada, demonstrates a powerful resolve. As one of the sisters, Sama, stated, the war never broke their determination.
