Speaking at a program in Dhaka, Ahmed articulated the BNP’s commitment to Islamic values.<\/p>\n
In addition to this promise, the BNP leader expressed support for the expansion of madrasa education. He stressed, however, that these religious schools should not be co-opted as a platform for any specific political party.<\/p>\n
