Iraqi Military Deploys Troops and Medical Equipment for Arba’een Pilgrimage

\nIn anticipation of the peak of the Arba’een pilgrimage and rising temperatures, Iraq\u2019s Ministry of Defense has announced the widespread deployment of military forces and medical equipment along the routes leading to the holy city of Karbala.<\/p>\n
According to Al-Sumaria, the deployment is a direct response to the significant increase in pilgrims, especially those arriving from Basra and other Gulf countries. Tahsin al-Khafaji, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, stated that “preemptive operations and security ambushes” in the west and northwest of Karbala have yielded positive results in securing the routes.<\/p>\n
