Holy Karbala Governorate has launched an extensive emergency plan to prepare for the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage, expected to attract over 25 million visitors from Iraq and abroad. Key service sectors, including the electricity department, are fully mobilized to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.<\/p>\n
Ahmed Mousa Al-Abadi, Ministry of Electricity spokesperson, confirmed efforts such as dividing power feeders, installing new transformers, and maintaining distribution networks\u2014especially in accommodation and medical areas\u2014to secure continuous electricity supply.<\/p>\n
Local authorities, in coordination with security forces, ministries, and the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas, are implementing organizational and service plans.
