Malaysia Launches Quranic Program to Encourage Daily Reading

\nThe Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) has launched the \u201cAl-Quran Di Mana-Mana: Tilawah dan Tadabbur\u201d program to promote daily Quran reading and reflection among Malaysian Muslims, Iqna.ir reported. The campaign coincides with the 65th International Al-Quran Recitation and Memorization Assembly (MTHQA), set for August 2-9 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n
Jakim director-general Sirajuddin Suhaimee emphasized that the program encourages Muslims to read and contemplate the Quran anywhere\u2014on public transport, at work, or in public spaces\u2014as part of everyday life. The initiative began with a journey from KL Sentral to Hat Yai, Thailand, involving Quran recitation, reflection sessions, and community service activities, including Quran distribution and aid to local communities.<\/p>\n
A second segment, \u201cAl-Quran Everywhere,\u201d will take place in Bukit Bintang on July 31, reinforcing the Quran as a constant life guide.
