\nFor the first time, the city of Al Hoceima in Morocco hosted a Quranic festival, organized in collaboration with the local Scientific Council and the Regional Department of Islamic Affairs, Morocco World News reported.<\/p>\n
This multi-day event featured various activities designed to connect the Quran with the community. These included calligraphy workshops, a street caravan centered on the Quran, religious exhibitions, and a ceremony honoring Hafiz, or memorizers of the Quran.<\/p>\n
During the festival, copies of the Holy Quran were distributed to Moroccan immigrants. Additionally, an elderly woman who participated in Quranic literacy programs was specially honored.
